CAMP WILDMAN RULES

PLEASE READ THESE RULES. FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH THEM COULD LEAD TO THE IMMEDIATE REMOVAL OF YOUR GROUP FROM THE CAMP AND JEOPARDIZE FUTURE BOOKINGS.

Leaders are responsible for the health, safety and CONDUCT of their charges.

Follow the rules which are posted in each lodge concerning the operation of that specific building.

Propane cylinders must be turned off OUTSIDE when griddles are not in use (for those lodges so equipped).

Camping stoves and lanterns MUST NOT be filled or used inside any building.

If using lodge accommodation, before you leave - vacuum the bunks and floors, wash the floors and clean the refrigerators.

Please help us to conserve energy - control the heat in the lodges, keep windows and doors closed when heat is on, and keep the outside lights off during the day.

Alcoholic beverages are NOT permitted anywhere in Camp Wildman.

Live trees, plants and shrubs MUST NOT be cut or otherwise damaged.

All vehicles and trailers are to be parked in the parking lots. All vehicles and trailers MUST stay on the roads while loading or unloading - they MUST not be driven onto any camp sites.

Campsites are to be left in a clean condition.

Fires may only be lit in designated fire pits.

Leave any partially burned wood in the fire pits to be burned by future campers.

Do not remove picnic tables or fire pit rims from the campsite.

Water must be obtained from the designated taps and not used for drinking.

Leaders must ensure that water taps are turned off when not in use.

The electric pump may burn out if taps are left running.

Personal washing and dishwashing must be done at the lodge/camp-site and NOT at taps, pumps or streams.

ALL recyclable waste (normal blue box type - cans, glass, paper & cardboard etc.) MUST be taken home - only normal garbage may be put in the dumpster (in the east parking east).

DO NOT BURY GARBAGE.

Do not put ANY chemicals, liquids or other foreign matter (including pop cans, and trees) in the toilets.

Use only hot water when cleaning the toilets.

NO pets are allowed on camp grounds. (Seeing-eye/hearing ear dogs exempt).

There must be NO excessive noise after 11.00 p.m.

Smoking is NOT permitted in any building in the camp.

When smoking outside, dispose of butts in a safe manner in a suitable container.

In an emergency situation, campers inside lodges are required to make accommodation available in their lodge for any outside campers requiring assistance.

Please use biodegradable soap products in the Camp.

Unless prior arrangements are made, the Camp facilities and Lodges (if booked) will be opened by 1.00 p.m. on arrival date and will be vacated by 2.00 p.m. on the departure date.
