ACCOMMODATION

CAHIAGUE LODGE (42 bunks)

This is a 42 bunk lodge, with four rooms. There is a door to an outside deck from the kitchen.

It is a split level lodge with 27 bunks arranged in tiers of three in the upper carpeted level.

There is a staircase to the lower levels and an emergency fire escape door and outside staircase.

On the mid level is a kitchen, complete with electric stove, refrigerator, microwave oven, restaurant size griddle,
(propane operated - you need to bring an older style propane bbq cylinder)
large dining table with seating for 16-20 and 12 bunks arranged in tiers of three against one wall.

There is also a separate room with 3 bunks arranged in one tier of three leading off of the kitchen.
A telephone is provided for emergency, collect or calling card calls.

On the lower level is a common room with a cement floor with tables and chairs to seat approx. 60 persons.
There is another refrigerator on this level and clothes dryer.
Heat is provided by means of electric forced air heaters and baseboard heaters.
There is a "burning" board provided for those so inclined to leave a momento of their visit.
There are no indoor washing areas, showers or toilets.

Two outside, permanently sited, non flush toilets are situated approximately 15 metres from the lodge. (Use your mouse pointer to find the toilet)
